6. Layer and pin the following in order:

•Backing square, wrong side up

•16˝ × 16˝ (40.6 cm × 40.6 cm) batting square

•Top, right side up

Machine quilt the fabric borders. Cut away the excess batting and backing.

7. Sew the quilt binding all around the edges.

8. On the left side of the wallhanging top, sew the sunflower button on the girl’s hand. Tie a small piece of green yarn around the button to make it look like leaves from the sunflower. Trim the excess yarn.

9. Using a cotton swab and makeup blush, rub a small dab of blush on the girl’s cheeks.
